Notes and pages only scratch the surface, as Notion lets you structure your document almost however you want. Need a page industry mailing list a bunch of subpages? Done . Need a form to track status? Done . When you update the metadata on these pages, do you need to use a table to keep track of other pages?
Omg, done. I'm far from an advanced user, but I really like this toolset. I don't have to worry about where something should go, just have some advanced pages with lots of subpages. Their global search is amazing for jumping to whatever I'm looking for.
