Wholegrain products are also full of carbohydrates, and thus not part of a keto diet. Younger, fit people who exercise a lot may be able to tolerate quite a lot of protein and still stay in ketosis. There’s a lack of clear scientific evidence about what level of protein intake is most beneficial on a keto diet.
